Singers Wanted

Singers for a Kelvin Grad Mass Choir to perform at the 100th Anniversary Gala Concert (7:00 p.m. May 25, 2012 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre).

The choir will include current students as well as Kelvin grads and will be conducted by John Standing, Derek Morphy and Kim Brown. The choir that performed at the 75th included 167 singers. Let’s beat that number.

Rehearsals will begin in early spring for those living in Winnipeg. Those singers currently not residing in Winnipeg will be supplied with music to learn and then included in the final two rehearsals – Thursday, May 24th in the evening and Friday, May 25th in the late afternoon.

Interested? Contact Reid Harrison and provide him with an email address and phone number. Also make him aware if you’re not living in Winnipeg.

Photographs Needed

We also are looking for photographs to be used as part of the concert and to be included in a Kelvin High School 100th Anniversary Memory Book and DVD. These can be photos relating to any aspect of the school’s history. If you can part with photos for a short period of time, they will be scanned and returned to you quickly. To lend photos, please contact Chris Young.
